This ring is special (and fun) because it causes a treasue goblin to appear after you get hit enough times by enemies. This goblin will pick up loot for you, and drops a rare item. Greed's Domain (AKA The Vault or the Treasure Vault) is a special dungeon area added to Reaper of Souls in Patch 2.1. It was first seen on the PTR when Patch 2.1 testing went live, and created great player excitement.
To enter the area, simply kill Treasure Goblins. Once in a while one of them will leave open a yellow portal when they die, which the player can then pass through to enter Greed's Domain. It's a small area of unusual design with a single winding staircase that moves down to a central arena where the boss fight occurs. Along the way players will meet various trash mobs, several Treasure Goblins, and many smashable urns and crates, all of which spit out tremendous sprays of gold.
After winding down several elevated levels, players reach a large circular platform, where they encounter Greed herself. Her formal title is Greed: Baroness of the Treasure Realm. Defeating Greed causes a super-sized golden chest to drop from the sky. When opened it spawns tremendous riches. PTR results showed dozens of huge stacks of gold, plus multiple rare items and legendaries.
Items, including legendary items can be found in The Vault, but the guarantee is a huge amount of gold. Over 500 million can be scooped up on Torment 6 with Gold Find gear on, but even on low difficulty levels tens of millions of gold will be obtained, mostly from the destructibles and the final massive golden chest.
Designed as a Bonus Area[edit | edit source]
The Vault is meant to be a reward and a fun bonus find, rather than a life or death challenge. The developers spoke about the design theory in a live chat in late August, 2014.[1]
Nevalistis: One new area we're adding in the patch it something we call 'The Vault.' How cool is it?Wyatt: I think it's super cool and I hope everyone gets a chance to see it. For those who haven't already, it has to do with the Treasure Goblins. If you kill a Goblin there's a small chance that you get to open up a portal to enter the Realm of Greed. And it comes from the idea of where Treasure Goblins go when they get away. We've got to put something in for that, and I'm pretty excited about it.
Nevalistis: I haven't seen it yet on the PTR. Maybe I'll get on this afternoon and hunt some more.
Wyatt: It's not designed to be a hard area. We weren't going to give players this rare chance to get into the area and then WE'RE GOING TO KILL YOU!!1! *laughter* That's not cool. It's more of a celebration event. Gold is raining down everywhere, there's treasure. We just wanted it to be a fun run around. The boss' mechanics are focused on being interesting rather than deadly. It can be found by killing Treasure Goblins. One way fans have found is to repeatedly run the Halls of Agony level 2, in Act One. There is always a Treasure Goblin somewhere on that level, and early reports are that about every 15-20 tries, he'll pop the yellow portal to Greed's Domain.
Alternatively, transmuting a Puzzle Ring in the cube will also open the golden portal in town.

Remember the Horadric Cube from Diablo 2? In Diablo 3, it has a successor! The Kanai's Cube is a very useful gadget that can be obtained in the new location - Ruins of Sescheron. Using this item, you can draw unique effects from a given legendary item (the orange ones) and save them in the cube. This way, you will be able to use one effect of your choice, without having to wear the item. In the cube, you can choose one item of each category: weapon, armor and jewelry. Thanks to that, the possibilities of enhancing your hero's power will largely grow.
Basic Recipes
In Kanai's Cube, you can reforge items using recipes. Most of them require crafting materials, Forgotten Souls, Death's Breaths and items obtained from Horadric Cache after completing the quests in every act.

1. Collecting a special effect from a legendary item
To do that, you need to have a given legendary item and 5 materials from every act + 5 Death's Breaths. Remember that after the operation the item gets destroyed.
2. Upgrading rare items into legendary items
To do that, you need to have a given rare item, 25 Death's Breaths and 50 crafting materials(?). The rare item will be turned into a random set item or legendary item of the same kind. There is a chance of creating an ancient item.
3. Conversion of set items into other items of the same set
For this recipe, you will need a set item + 10 Forgotten Souls and 10 Death's Breaths. The item will be converted into another item of the same set, but it cannot become a legendary item.
4. Rerolling all statistics on legendary items
Thanks to this operation, you can try to reroll the statistics of a given item. If you cannot get a different one and the one you have is not so good - you have a chance to change it! What's more, There is a 10% chance that you will obtain a legendary item. The ingredients that you will need are: 5 special materials from every 5 acts + 50 Forgotten Souls. It costs a lot, but may bring you a lot of profit.
5. Removal of character level requirements
Using this operation, you can completely remove the level requirements on an item, which will allow your low level characters to use very powerful pieces of equipment. The required material is Gem of Ease (rank 25 or higher).
6. Conversion of gems
You can turn 9 gems of any kind into one of your choice. To do that, you have to buy an appropriate essence from Squirt in at II (it costs 500 000 gold) and mix it with the 9 gems and 5 Death's Breaths. Best free osx games.
7. Conversion of crafting materials
You can also create crafting materials using other kinds that you for example won't need. To do that, you need 100 pieces of a given material, one item (white, blue or yellow) and depending on the material that you want to obtain, 1 Death's Breath.
Hidden Recipes
Kanai's Cube https://forkunssuggwa1976.mystrikingly.com/blog/fujitsu-siemens-scaleo-p-xp-drivers. , like a proper ancient relic, has it secrets. Besides basic recipes, there are also hidden ones:
1. Not the Cow Level
All Diablo fans will be certainly glad that they will be able to visit the world of cows with bardiches again! To open the portal to the level, which apparently 'does not exist', you will need a legendary item - Bovine Bardiche. Put the weapon in the cube, accept and you're ready! Not The Cow Level is full of mobs, which allows you to earn a lot of experience. It is good to visit the whole map and search the edges of it, because you can find large chests with items. The cows have their queen, which you can kill or spare. On every map, there is an event during which your task will be to eliminate as many cows as you can. The portal to Not The Cow Level can be opened only once a gameplay, so if you have more than one Bardiche to use, you will need to create a new game.
2. Treasury Realm
You no longer need to chase Goblins in adventure mode to get to Treasury Realm! Now, using Kanai's Cube and Puzzle Ring, you can instantly open a portal to this place. Inside, you will find a huge amount of gold, more Goblins and a chamber with Greed, Baroness of the Treasure Realm at the end. After killing the boss, you're guaranteed to obtain 2 legendary or set items.
As you can see, Kanai's Cube has a lot of uses and will most probably be upgraded in later patches. Thanks to this item, your hero can receive powerful effects from items that he/she doesn't even wear! What's more, it makes it easier for you to collect a specific set, obtaining the weapon that you need or other legendary item.
